First 8 Days: Habits 1-2

Modules 1-2

First student day Aug 20; staff development Aug 17-19 - no students.

What students should walk away with

One official module per student day. Select the lesson activities that fit your schedule.

Aug. 20-31 is protected for classroom culture and the eight daily leadership modules.

Day-by-day

  1. Thursday

    Introduce the habit and set the week's goal (20-30 min).

  2. Friday

    Quick review and practice: students name one place the habit shows up in their day.

No-prep fallback (always safe)

  1. Post the habit on the board: First 8 Days: Habits 1-2.
  2. Ask: "Where did you see this habit this week — at school or online?"
  3. Students write a 5-sentence journal response and share one example with a partner.
  4. Close with three volunteers sharing out; collect journals for the teacher.
